Step 1
Get Prepared (20 minutes):
Gather materials, and copies, review the lesson, and familiarize yourself with keys provided as needed.

This will access students' current knowledge in a simple and concrete demonstration of their skills. This provides a chance for the facilitator to give a simple, rote example of how to work this skill.

Model & Think: Math Lesson (120 minutes):
Students complete the warm-up activity followed by the Word Problems.

Includes Progress Monitoring (5 minutes): each activity includes ways to observe and monitor how students are doing through this lesson.
Step 4
Connect: Closing the Lesson (10 minutes):
Time to celebrate success, review missed skills, and provide enrichment activities through real-world application ideas.
