Colorado Educator Exchange and Visiting Teacher Program Opportunities
Colorado International Teacher's Exchange League - Australia
Applications are available now for teachers and other licensed school personnel to apply for a one-year exchange with educators in Australia, beginning either January or July 2021. This is an excellent opportunity for professional development as an educator, as it offers new approaches to current issues in the classroom and educational community.
CITEL facilitates educator exchanges with many countries around the world. Exchange opportunities exist for classroom teachers and administrators in a K-12 school or community college. Educators from states other than Colorado may apply.
The full-year exchange involves trading jobs and housing for a full year with a teacher from Australia. Minimum qualifications:
- 4.5 years' teaching experience (3 of which must be in your current school district as a non-probationary teacher)
- valid Colorado teacher license
- school/district approval
