Industry Recognized Credential Request Form

Please complete the form linked below if you would like a credential program to be reviewed for inclusion on the 2026-2027 approved list of industry recognized credentials (IRCs; formerly called CDIP). Submissions are accepted through August 31, 2025 and will be reviewed in September/October for inclusion in the new list, which is published each December in the Talent Pipeline Report.

Requirements:

1. Completed IRC Request Form.
2. Letter of support: A minimum of one letter of support from either your local Workforce Development Board or industry that validates industry demand and employment outcomes.

Submission deadline is August 31, 2025. Check below for information about the screening process that happens after your form submission.

Process:

In addition to specific CDIP requirements (referenced in the below graphic), the Colorado Workforce Development Council uses the criteria in the Colorado Quality and In-Demand Non-degree Credentials rubric to evaluate for demand, skills, employment outcomes, and stackability.
