Summer Food Service Program - Sponsor & Site Training
Sponsor Training
A program administrator and/or key staff members from each sponsoring organization are required to annually complete the CDE School Nutrition training to participate in the program. The in-person training is required for new sponsor organizations and is highly recommended for new staff overseeing the program. Experienced sponsor staff are also welcome to attend. An online training is available for experienced sponsor staff who do not attend the in-person training.
Online Training
Experienced sponsor staff may use these required online trainings to meet training program requirements. Sponsors must complete the required trainings in order to obtain a certificate. Optional trainings are also available to use as additional training resources.
