Ensuring programs are managed effectively ensures sponsors receive full reimbursement for meals served and provides students with access to healthy, nutritious foods during the school day and summer. To ensure compliance, sponsors must follow USDA program regulations and guidance as well as state and local regulations and policies.

Sponsors must comply with:

USDA Program regulations guidance and instructions
State law, regulations and policies that are not in conflict with Federal requirements
Local law, regulations and policies that are not in conflict with Federal requirements
