Library Laws, Policies and Standards

Library Laws, Policies, and Standards provides expert guidance, practical tools, and informative guides developed by CSL staff to support public library board members, trustees, and leadership managing legal and policy-related challenges.

 

 


Library Statistics

The Library Research Service (LRS) reports and analyzes statistics on school, public, and academic libraries, and conducts studies on major library issues that are reported in the Fast Facts and Closer Look series as well as ongoing blog series on various topics.

 

 


Literacy and Youth Services

CSL’s Literacy and Youth Services team offers extensive resources to support youth services in Colorado’s libraries, from infant story time to teen literature groups, as well as opportunities to join professional groups to connect with youth services staff in libraries around Colorado.

 


Resource Sharing and Web Services

Resource sharing support for Colorado libraries is provided by the Networking and Resource Sharing (NRS) unit. NRS manages statewide services and projects so that libraries don't have to "go it alone."

NRS staff coordinates technology-based services best suited to groups of libraries to utilize the power of library partnerships, cooperative purchasing, and web-based resources designed to meet multi-type library needs.
