Description

Employing young people with mental health issues can be very challenging for the service provider, employee, and the employer. This presentation will focus on some common disorders that impact the success of employment sustainability for these young adults. This training will also provide strategies and resources to improve success in the workplace.  

Objectives

  • Provide mental health information that may impact young adults' employment sustainability
  • Enable participants to be able to recognize areas of support needs within employment
  • Provide participants suggestions regarding sustaining employer relations
  • Having participants leave with helpful resource for future planning.
