CDE Field Trips - 11/12/24 National Education Support Professionals Day

Posted 11/12/2024 - 3:40pm

On National Education Support Professionals Day, Nov. 20, we recognize the school support professionals who play a huge part in fostering student engagement every day. These roles include paraprofessionals who provide one-on-one support, cafeteria workers who create warm, welcoming spaces for meals, IT specialists who enable tech-driven learning, and administrative staff who help each day run smoothly. These staff members help our students feel connected and ready to learn. They’re often the trusted adults who inspire students to attend regularly and engage with their learning.

Watch the video to see how Tajanay “Taj” Reed connects with students in her Office Support role at George Washington High School in Denver Public Schools.
