Description:

Computer science is about so much more than coding! Learn about artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, training data, and bias, while exploring ethical issues and how AI can be used to address world problems.

We will use Code.org’s FREE materials to model a lesson and conversation talking points you can use with K-12 students!

The program is designed to quickly introduce you (and your students) to a lesson you can use for a variety of school counseling goals or classroom instruction, either in-person or remote.

The presenters will be:

Meredith Chicklas, School Counselor in Jeffco School District & Shirley Miranda, Computer Science teacher in San Diego Unified School District.
