The development of Pear Park?s 2024-2025 Unified Improvement Plan (UIP) involved collaboration across various levels. At the district level, the strategic plan and District 51 (D51) administrators provided guidance and resources to building administrators, including Pear Park?s leadership team. D51 has aligned professional learning for administrators with its strategic plan, which has directly informed the improvement strategies in the UIP. School teams have had access to a range of data sources, including CMAS, DIBELS, NWEA, CoGAT, Panorama, DreamBox, Lexia, and Student/Family Surveys, all of which have been analyzed to inform decision-making. At the school level, the Principal, Assistant Principal, Instructional Coach, and the Instructional Leadership Team (ILT) meet bi-weekly and participate in quarterly training sessions to analyze data and review current practices. This regular analysis helps identify areas for improvement and refinement in the goals, systems, structures, and practices that guide learning and school operations. The data reviews have directly shaped the direction of Pear Park?s UIP. Pear Park continues to actively communicate with and recruit families and community members to participate in school improvement efforts. The school holds quarterly School Accountability Committee (SAC) meetings as one avenue for this engagement. Additionally, Pear Park works closely with community stakeholders, including a Parent Teacher Organization, to offer programming and family engagement events, leveraging these opportunities to gather feedback on school priorities and improvement efforts. Looking ahead, Pear Park aims to expand family engagement opportunities to further recruit, engage, and capture feedback that will shape school priorities and the UIP. The collaboration between Pear Park stakeholders, District 51, and the wider community has resulted in a UIP that reflects active participation and engagement from a diverse range of voices.
