Liberty Tree Academy is a K-12 charter school with a population of 520 students that is located in Peyton, CO and authorized by District 49. LTA offers a traditional American Classical education based on Hillsdale K-12 Program guide, classical strategies and a strong civic and humanities focus. Based on the Hillsdale American Classical school model, Liberty Tree Academy prepares students through a traditional, content-rich education in a disciplined and orderly environment, to be self-governing … citizens who are equipped to carry out the vision of our Nation?s Founders to preserve and perpetuate liberty. Our instruction includes Latin and classic literature, providing a strong base of learning. We add Rhetoric, Logic, and Moral Philosophy to train our students to be thinkers. Bringing our five key virtues into the lessons helps build character in our students. The students also read about key historical figures from original source documents to discuss how they showed good character and worked through tough situations to create this great country.
