Post pandemic, Trails West hired a new principal. The main focus during the 2021-2022 school year was around understanding the PLC process as most teachers shared they did not feel confident in engaging in effective PLCs. The year was focused on understanding state standards and identifying learning targets based on the standards. In the spring, the teachers had a plan day alongside the instructional coach to align essential standards with the curriculum. The intent was to set the grade levels u…
