Buffalo Trail Elementary student performance priorities align with the Cherry Creek School District's strategic plan. racter in students. We work to develop respect and responsibility in all facets of school life. Our rigorous curriculum has an academic emphasis in language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. All students (K-5) will have routine exposure to physical education, music, art, and research and media skills. Technology is integrated throughout the instructional day. Buffalo Trail features several programs to enhance our classrooms and support the needs of our students, including Gifted and Talented, Special Education and intervention support across all grade levels. We provide differentiated and culturally responsive instruction to meet the needs of all children. We believe in cooperative learning that is hands-on, fun and engaging. Our school can only be as strong as the partnerships within it. We strive to connect staff, students, and parents to create a challenging, child-centered learning community. Our teachers employ solid instructional practices, and focus on assessment and accountability. Together, we breathe life into our school mission: To inspire every student to think, to learn, to achieve, and to care. ?
