Colorado Department of Education Professional Development

The School Nutrition Unit offers online, in-person and webinar trainings to increase school nutrition professionals’ skills and knowledge in operating child nutrition programs. These trainings provide USDA Professional Standards hours and count as Continuing Education Units (CEU) for the School Nutrition Specialist (SNS) Credential. P-EBT Updates Town Hall 

Join the School Nutrition Unit on May 19th from 2:30-3:30 pm and learn about the P-EBT Support Center and more general P-EBT updates. For the P-EBT Support Center we will cover common questions that support center staff can assist families with and provide information on how sponsors and families can contact the center. In addition, we will provide updates on the P-EBT mini grant process, the May 31st P-EBT data collection time-frame and 2020-21 Summer P-EBT benefits. There will be a Q&A at the end of the town hall to answer all of your P-EBT questions.

  • The May call will cover the waivers released by USDA that allow flexibilities to school meal programs for the 2021-22 school year and answers questions submitted through the FAQ form
  • General Information

    • Held the last Thursday of each month from 2-3 p.m. MST
    • The same registration link is used for each call. Either register in advance or click this link to join the call. 
    • Topics are determined monthly based on School Food Authority/sponsor requests
    • Complete this online form to submit topics for discussion
