Live stream the ESSA Hub Committee meetings

The Colorado Department of Education will offer live audio streaming of the ESSA Hub Committee meetings beginning with the next meeting on Monday, September 12, 2016.

To access the live stream, please visit the ESSA State Plan Development webpage (  and click the “Listen Live!” button starting at 12:30 pm on September 12.

Please note that the Listen Live feature is only available during scheduled meeting dates.

Update on Colorado’s ESSA State Plan Development

Thank you to the hundreds of educators, parents, and students who took the time to attend and provide feedback at the ESSA listening tour events, listening tour webinar, and through our ESSA blog and email inbox. We are in the process of finalizing the compilations of comments, concerns, and ideas we heard during the tour.  We have sent the input we received by site to all who attended the sessions and are also posting the comments by site on the CDE website.

Proposed ESSA Regulations and Public Comment Process from the U.S. Department of Education

Participate in the ESSA Listening Tour Webinar

CDE is hosting an ESSA listening tour webinar on June 1st for those unable to attend an in-person session. This listening tour session is open to all interested participants.

ESSA: Negotiated Rulemaking

ESSA Statewide Listening Tour
