The Educator Effectiveness team is committed to supporting educator practice and building an integrated, systematic approach to educator evaluation. One primary way of providing support is by bringing professional learning communities (PLCs) together so that regions can connect and collaborate.
The Educator Effectiveness team will host a virtual PLC, "Educator Evaluations in Changing Environments" in November to deepen understanding of new/existing resources and supports, as well as reiterate and reinforce best practices of observations for educators across learning environments and settings. Anyone with a role in educator evaluations is encouraged to attend, including and not limited to superintendents, district leadership, principals/evaluators, educators, and members of the Advisory Personnel Performance Evaluation Council (formerly 1338). A certificate for contact hours will be available for PLC participants.
